William ( Bill ) Denman is a mature artist based in Worcestershire, UK. Over the years, he has produced original paintings in oil colour, water colour, gouache, pastel and lino-cut. His favourite medium is oils on board, and he has a bold and original approach to his work. His paintings explore the shape and structure of the subject relative to its environment, whether that subject be building, plant study or the human body.

His brush technique is of individual strokes, not blended, producing a lively result, even on plain-coloured surfaces. This might be summed up as a modern slant on impressionism.
